Issues

Taylor’s leadership in the Navy has taught him to put country before himself – and that’s exactly how he’ll lead in Congress. Missourians deserve a strong leader who will stand up and fight for individual liberty, limited government, and fiscal responsibility.

Election Integrity

As Boone County Clerk, Taylor fought for commonsense election protections to restore integrity to our elections. In Congress, he will continue to fight for transparency and accountability so every Missourian can trust that their vote counts.

Protecting Life

As followers of Christ and the parents of three young boys, Taylor and his wife believe that all life—born and unborn—is worth protecting. The federal government must work harder to prevent abortions in America, including stopping chemical abortions that endanger the lives of vulnerable women. Taylor will fight to defund Planned Parenthood, eliminate funding for abortion in international aid, while supporting programs for vulnerable women in crisis to choose Life.

Fiscal Responsibility

Missourians deserve to have their hard-earned dollars protected, and when Taylor was Boone County's Election Authority and County Clerk, he cut nearly $500,000 from his budget. Democrats and Republicans alike cannot seem to avoid the addiction to enormous federal budgets. He will fight to make sure your tax dollars aren’t wasted, which means future tough choices that will allow American prosperity for the next generation. Continuing to burden our children with out of control spending is unsustainable, and we are closer to this problem than politicians want to admit.

Supporting Our Troops

As a commander in the Navy with four deployments overseas, Taylor knows first hand just how important our military is. In Congress, he will continue to fight to make sure our military receives the funding and respect it deserves. Taylor has worked to serve on the House Armed Services Committee, where he will push for additional equipment, personnel, and funding for the vital national security mission out of Whiteman Air Force Base in his district.

National Readiness

One of the things we learned from COVID19 is that pandemics threaten public health, economic and national security, and our individual liberties. The United States must put ourselves in a position to never again be vulnerable to a global pandemic, especially when these public health threats originate from hostile foreign nations like China. The United States must invest in biosecurity measures to protect our national security and public health, so that our economic security and individual liberties are not threatened. Prevention, not reaction, is key to our long-term protection!

Preserving Our Freedoms

Too many politicians see tragic situations as an excuse to limit our constitutional rights and take our guns. Taylor will fight to protect the Second Amendment so all Missourians can exercise their right to bear arms and protect their families.

Infrastructure

President Trump's mission to Make America Great Again has seen substantial investment in America's crumbling and antiquated infrastructure. Taylor will support programs that reshore American jobs, restore our manufacturing greatness, and allow the next generation of American builders, entrepreneurs, and innovators to continue the American experiment.

Agriculture

Missouri farmers, ranchers, and growers are the heart of America's food supply, and produce commodities essential to feeding and fueling the world. Taylor is the fifth-generation of his family to grow up on their farm in Missouri, so he understands the daily challenges that global instability, energy insecurity, and commercial uncertainty cause ag producers in our state. He will further fight to protect the production, transportation, distribution, and sale of Missouri agriculture products from frivolous lawsuits that drive up costs for all consumers and shut down small farmers and businesses. Missouri has no member of Congress serving on the House Agriculture committee, and he will use his experience to restore Missouri's voice in federal ag policy.
